Hotpoint Branded Steam Engine (Empire B-30) Made by The Metal Ware Corporation Of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, USA. Circa 1930's I would like to thank my good friend Alan for the following information. www.alspcs.com "There are Empire engines that were made for the United Kingdom under the "Hotpoint Electric Appliance Ltd" label. They made the Empire models B-30, B-31, B-35, B-38, and the B-42, with 220 - 240 volt AC heating elements. They were probably made for the market in the late 1930's and up to the start of World War II." |
